Service and Package Information
Mosquito Force One and Done and Pro Package Service Description
Mosquito Force’s One and Done package is designed for your very special events. Contact us and our technician will arrive at your property to layout a treatment plan to ensure that only invited guests will be at your event.
Mosquito Force’s Mosquito Pro Package is designed for the best daytime and nighttime control! For this package, a treatment will occur every 21 days or every 2 weeks throughout the summer.
Each mosquito treatment helps control up to 80% of mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks in treated areas. The products used in a mosquito treatment are made from 99% naturally derived ingredients that will kill these pests on contact while leaving a residual effect on treated areas to continue control.
We provide quotes based on measurements taken via satellite imagery. Our team will determine the best treatment area for control while allowing for the client’s preferred treatment areas (including driveways, trails, firepit areas, and additional acreage).
If a client signs up for one of our mosquito control services, it is imperative that they inform us of any areas they do NOT want treated or how to access certain areas. Examples include near honeybee hives, gardens, berry bushes, or behind gates. Once noted, clients do not need to inform us of these areas again, unless something has changed.
IMPORTANT: Mosquitoes will hatch before a first treatment can be performed. Mosquito force must ensure the environment is ready to receive a treatment so the control can last up to 4 weeks. This includes vegetation reaching a certain growth point for the product to stick to and good weather conditions to apply the product. Mosquito force understands that it can be frustrating to wait, but it is in the client’s best interest to do so. Clients are encouraged to use mosquito repellent with deet on their clothing, wear longer clothing, use fans outside, etc. while they wait for their first treatment.
Mosquito force needs a minimum two weeks’ notice to schedule treatments for special events.
What clients can expect BEFORE each treatment:
Mosquito force will schedule each treatment and contact the client via email and/or text about a week prior to each service visit. Because of the many variables in the services we provide, routes are scheduled to best accommodate our technicians. Requests for specific days or times cannot be guaranteed, including being on the same rotation as a family member, friend, or neighbor. Upon request, our technicians can call or text clients prior to arrival.
Mosquito force is always watching the weather before, during, and after scheduled service visits. If rain, snow, wind gusts, or high heat are in the forecast, we may move up the service, push the service to the following business day, or time out that service to avoid these conditions. The products applied do rain-cure once dry which typically takes around an hour.
Tip: Mosquito force recommends keeping the lawn mowed to help control mosquitoes in the yard. Clients can mow before or after a mosquito treatment is performed.
What clients can expect DURING each treatment:
Windows need to be closed and people and pets must stay inside during each service visit. Day-to-day activities can resume once the products applied dry which can take around an hour or less. As an added precaution, people and pets with sensitive skin should wait two hours before touching treated areas.
Clients are not required to be present during this service since the treatment is completed outside.
Things to keep in mind:
Animals and people that go beyond the treated boundary and back within the boundary may bring mosquitoes, fleas, or ticks with them.
If treated foliage gets wet, it will reactivate once it dries again.
